Internal Subsites and External Subsites (Extranets)

SMLWRLD Unlimited supports any number of subsites.

Each subsite can follow the main look-and-feel of the parent site – or it can have an entirely separate look-and-feel. The design of each site/subsite is completely freeform and does not require adherence to any templates or pre-defined styleguides.

Subsites have the advantage of being able to tightly control permissions over who is able to access them. This could have several applications:

1. Internal Groups – private areas or sub-sites for specific audiences.
2. External Groups (i.e. an Extranet) – private areas where certain internal content can be exposed to external parties via an extranet or client portal.

It is entirely possible to set up unique URLs for sub-sites. Below are some examples of quite different look-and-feels achieved within the same site.
