SMLWRLD Unlimited offers complete flexibility around content templates.

Each template can be built by admins with little or no training using our freeform responsive layout editor. There is no limit to the number and use of such templates. In the example below, each article type has it’s own template (i.e. layout and functionality).

 
Each template consists of 2 major components:

Layout – This is created using our drag & drop template builder tool. Boxes can be arranged in any way on the page, with no limitations. The layout-rendering engine automatically ensures that all layouts are fully responsive for the purposes of displaying on devices with smaller screens. These pages then form the templates from which content authors create their content, or section builders build their pages.

Functionality – Within each box defined in the layout, a wide variety of “elements” can be placed. Each element represents a piece of functionality for example:

• Title
• Text field
• Lookup dropdown
• Event Calendar
• Media/attachments upload
• Comment/reply feed
• “More like this” list
• Etc.

Each template is built up from these building blocks, with an unlimited flexibility for the end result.
